I honestly can’t decide if that scene in Reunion was super douchey at the expense of overweight people, or a genuinely sad and very human moment, or my personal fantasy, so I’m going to use sarcasm to hide my confusion. And some captions.
Ah thank you, I was hoping someone would bring this up. I’ve been puzzling about this myself to be honest, because I think it kind of skirted the line of being offensive?? Especially the scenes with her and Duke, because they kind of made her come off as needy because lol you know those fat people, obviously they can’t get affection so they try to force people to give it to them.
It’s why I haven’t really been inclined to rewatch Reunion, because it made me super uncomfortable.
